One feared side effect in many young women after Chemotherapy is early menopause and infertility.
MD Anderson launched a study with the drug- Zoladex- which is thought to reduce the risk of developing ovarian dysfunction as a result of chemotherapy.
NBC News reports that out of 218 women who had received Chemotherapy- half were given the drug Zoladex. Those women had better functioning ovaries, more pregnancies and more successful pregnancies.
